Fiddlers Ridge Marsh

This Acrylic is painted on a 16 x 20 wood panel. I used one of my favorite processes on this one.I start with a very wet , thin paint that is like a watercolor technique and work my way toward thicker paint. That's nothing new.  It's pretty much how oil paintings are built up but it's so much fun. You can go here to see the finished painting on my site
Actually, after having the painting in the house for a while I think it needs to be lightened up across the tops of the grass "islands" so it's back on the easel
