This is the second in the 30 in 30 but also the second painting of my trip. It's a big rock with trees and bushes growing in it. I felt I had to explain that because it's so bad you can't really tell what it is. This was done with my latest "Hike and Paint " kit, basically an hand held "easel" with supplies in a waist pack. I designed it so I can paint with the most minimal setup and paint standing up. This is a 5 x 7 gouache on Fabriano rough paper.
